Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role focused on production optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience with SAP and PLC programming preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment, utilizing Lean Six Sigma to identify opportunities for process enhancement and drive implementation of solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize process efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput while maintaining product quality standards.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization, automation, and material efficiency improvements.
• Work with maintenance teams to reduce both planned and unplanned downtime for all production equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, including process parameters, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide training and support to production teams to ensure proper implementation of manufacturing techniques and processes.
• Lead new equipment and process launches network-wide and support cross-functional teams for successful planning and execution.
