Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Fremont, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and improve operations, applying Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost OEE. You will hire and coach manufacturing engineers, oversee projects from concept to implementation, and collaborate with Process, Design, QA, and Production teams.

The role requires a BS in engineering with 5+ years of process manufacturing/engineering experience, knowledge of PFMEA and Six Sigma, and strong

Qualifications

• BS degree in manufacturing/engineering with 5+ years experience.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of PFMEA and Six Sigma desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing operations using Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methods to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and boost OEE.
• Hire, train, and coach manufacturing engineers and team members, providing technical support.
• Oversee engineering/Automation projects from concept to implementation within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with Process, Design, QA, and Production teams for manufacturability and launches.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Develop cost reduction programs and labor savings projects.
• Provide status reports to internal managers and customers.
• Perform time/motion studies and capacity analysis.
