Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the ARG Pre Assembly Department in Moraine, OH. This full-time role focuses on improving pretreatment product quality, reducing scrap, and enhancing output through process optimization and lean initiatives.

You will lead manufacturing improvements, support new equipment, and collaborate across Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet KPIs and ensure smooth transitions to mass production of automotive glass products.

Qualifications

• Analyzes and improves manufacturing processes to increase efficiency.
• Implements and optimizes production workflows and standard work.
• Supports new equipment installation and process validation.
• Collaborates with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Monitors KPIs such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
• Supports the launch of new automotive glass products into mass production.
• Implements Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard work.
• Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
• Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth transition into mass production.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Other duties as assigned.
