Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, aerospace, industrial engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• 2 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years combined engineering education and experience.
• MRB member with MRB authority.
• GD&T proficiency and interpretation of engineering docs and specs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
• Identifies opportunities or implements changes to improve manufacturing processes.
• Apply lean manufacturing methods to enhance quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
• Provides technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
• Maintains engineering planning and technical documentation.
• Determines root cause of failures using statistical procedures.
• Collects data and analyzes costs and production times.
• Communicates capabilities, schedules, or information to facilitate production.
• Evaluates products according to specs and MRB disposition.
• Develops new manufacturing processes and technical documentation.
• Facilitates engineering projects and process development.
• Performs engineering review of customer contracts and communicates with customers during process development.
• Designs tooling and tests to validate process capability.
• Researches and implements new technology and manufacturing techniques.
