Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support operations at our Brooklyn Park, MN facility. You will contribute to continuous improvement, optimize ongoing manufacturing and support new product launches and transfers.

The role requires a BS in engineering, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and experience with lean methods, DOE, and solid modeling tools. Travel to SD/Mexico may be required; this is a full-time, on-site position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated engineering problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in PTC ProE, Creo or similar solid modeling tools.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to SD and possibly Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Participate with post-product launch teams to address production manufacturability, cost, and yield issues.
• Provide line support daily to assigned lines for yield improvement, troubleshooting, and other objectives.
• Create labor estimates, time standards, assembly drawings, routings, and procedural documentation.
• Research and identify new production technologies to support cost and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair operations for manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate new production line startups within the facility and support transfers.
