Job summary
Rockwell Automation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to identify productivity savings and optimize manufacturing processes across parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. You will work with design engineering on new product releases and with MES deployment for production floors.
You will lead Lean initiatives, DFMA/DFM analyses, PFMEA, and cross-functional collaborations to improve efficiency, safety, and IT security plans in manufacturing sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 0–3 years of manufacturing/production engineering experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, DFMA/DFM, PFMEA.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects to meet annual productivity goals and reduce safety/ergonomic risk.
- Use Lean methodology to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Support DFMA/DFM analyses and PFMEA evaluations for new/existing lines.
- Collaborate with design and application engineering on NPI and product releases.
- Justify capital requests and identify tooling/fixture requirements.
- Participate in MES deployment and plant IT/productivity initiatives.
