Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Richland Center, WI, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on 1st shift to identify productivity improvements, develop and maintain manufacturing methods, and coordinate with design and application engineering on new product releases. You will collaborate with central teams to support plant operations and maintain records for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to meet annual productivity goals and reduce/eliminate safety and ergonomic risk in the manufacturing work environment.
• Use Lean methodology to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
• Develop, standardize, implement, maintain, and govern manufacturing processes across Rockwell Automation plants.
• Communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
• Support IT security and business productivity plans in the plants.
• Provide design input for MES and information management systems.
• Participate in NPI and DFA/ PFMEA reviews.
• Identify tooling, fixtures, and capital equipment needs.
