Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions in Milwaukee is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 1–6 years of experience to bridge design engineering and production. You will help introduce new products to the floor, standardize assembly methods, and apply lean methods to cut waste and costs.

You will also troubleshoot line issues, support ISO compliance, and drive safety and ergonomics improvements across the manufacturing process. A strong CAD and MS Office skill set is required.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering required, 1–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• If experience <3 years, GPA 3.0+ required
• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma is preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor; manage integration of new products into lines
• Develop operation method standards for assembling products
• Apply Lean concepts to reduce waste and improve line efficiency
• Troubleshoot production line problems
• Lead initiatives to mitigate risk, maintain ISO compliance, and reduce costs
• Lead design initiatives in line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow
• Justify capital equipment purchases
• Advance safety and ergonomic practices
