Job summary
Soap Creek Resources in Milwaukee seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, support, and lead the introduction of products to the floor. You will manage the integration of new products into existing lines, optimizing balance, pfMEA, and line efficiency, while developing operation standards.
Applicants should have a BS in Engineering with 1–6 years of manufacturing experience, CAD skills (Creo/Pro-E), and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma.
Qualifications
- BS Engineering with 1–6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (3.0+ GPA if under 3 years)
- Proficient CAD experience (Creo/Pro-E) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma and production line layout experience beneficial
Responsibilities
- Plan, support, and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor.
- Manage integration of new products into existing lines and optimize processes for balance and line efficiency.
- Develop operation method standards for efficient assembly.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve safety and cost.
- Troubleshoot production line problems and mitigate risk while maintaining ISO compliance.
