Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to lead lean initiatives and capital project efforts across a multi-state region.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS to drive profitability, throughput and quality while traveling 75–90% among NC, PA, CT and NY locations. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong manufacturing experience and the ability to translate operational needs into actionable projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast
• In-depth knowledge and practical use of lean manufacturing methodologies
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean manufacturing techniques
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems and project management tools

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards
• Identify opportunities to apply lean processes and capital investment to improve profitability
• Provide oversight, planning, training and mentoring to plant teams
• Drive manufacturing process change through hands-on coordination with plant teams
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks in production processes
• Provide training on kaizen, 5S and lean tools and techniques
• Track completion of improvement opportunities as planned
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications
• Evaluate and prioritize capital project proposals with operations teams
• Develop capital project business cases, scope, justification and financial analysis
• Perform ROI analysis for capital and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support plant leadership in identifying high-value investment opportunities
• Manage project-related commitments and expenditures within budget
