Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
No relocation benefit offered; candidates within 50 miles of Asheville NC preferred; Active-Duty Military exempt from distance requirement.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, tooling and fixturing design and applications.
Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and procedures.
Train factory operators in equipment use, tooling and procedures.
Plan, coordinate and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
Lead events like Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve factory cost-out targets.
Conduct line capacity analysis and drive labor productivity improvements.
Specify, design, install, and maintain equipment for manufacturing use.
Support digitization initiatives with MES implementation on the shop floor and Industry 4.0.
Provide cross-functional support as directed.
Design processes using PFMEA, document controls, method sheets, SOPs.
