Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead improvement initiatives, optimize production processes, and drive measurable safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements. The role partners with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to enhance performance and support the production of water technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems.
• Experience leading continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or process optimization initiatives.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Support production planning and scheduling activities to meet customer demand.
• Support development and maintenance of quality standards and procedures; conduct root cause analysis.
• Assist with budget planning and tracking to support cost control.
