Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective production. You will work with production, quality, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions.

The role requires a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma, CAD and simulation tools, and excellent cross-functional communication to ensure quality and efficiency across manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or electrical engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with process design, workflow optimization, and production planning.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain to drive improvements.
• Support new product introductions, including process design and prototyping.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and capacity planning.
• Monitor production metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Leverage automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing technologies.
