Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Power Components Division in Beaver, PA is seeking an on-site Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement across manufacturing operations and manage capital projects for production.

You will apply lean methods, Industry 4.0 integration, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to reduce waste, cut costs, and drive value while developing new processes and plant layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution completed no later than Jan 2027.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work visa.
• One year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment or co-op/internships preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute cost-out projects through productivity improvements.
• Promote lean manufacturing to eliminate waste and meet customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing processes.
• Integrate equipment and systems using Industry 4.0, including automation.
• Lead and support capital projects as defined by plant leadership.
• Use ELSS tools and CI strategies to improve performance on production lines.
• Develop manufacturing documentation, standard work sheets, control plans, and production layouts.
• Conduct time studies to establish labor standards.
• Plan layouts for new and existing products.
