Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3/4 for the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory near Rocket Center, WV. The role focuses on developing and supervising manufacturing processes, writing detailed work instructions, and driving productivity improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with design engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
• Evaluates discrepant hardware and implements corrective actions.
• Researches and evaluates tools and equipment to support processes.
• Troubleshoots processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Incorporates engineering changes on work in process.
