First Solar Inc. is seeking a Technician- Manufacturing Engineer II for the USA (Crew C/AM Shift) at our New Iberia, LA facility. You will assist in installing and qualifying manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, and implement system improvements to meet throughput and product performance goals.

Strong troubleshooting, electrical/mechanical skills and SPC-alarm response are required. Educational paths range from high school to bachelor’s in a technical discipline, with 0–3

Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting on the manufacturing line.
• Experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to apply statistical tools to analyze data.

Responsabilités

• Assist installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues and improve yield.
• Respond to SPC alarms and bring processes back into control.
• Provide training to production associates.
• Develop and update internal documentation.
