Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical diploma required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of machine or mechanical experience in manufacturing.
• One year First Solar technical experience preferred.
• Experience solving day-to-day production issues on a line.
• Strong written and oral English communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation and qualification of systems on the manufacturing line.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues and implement improvements.
• Identify yield and product performance improvements and root causes.
• Develop methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
• Set up gauges, maintain process control, and respond to alarms.
• Provide training and update internal documentation for production staff.
