Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in McKinney, TX seeks a Mechanical Engineer II for factory production support. You will join the Manufacturing Engineering department, collaborating with engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly/test to optimize processes.

You will evaluate test results, identify root causes, guide rework and retesting, and drive improvements in yields, procedures, and cycle times across programs like ATFLIR, Harpoon, and EODAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience resolving tolerance issues and documenting test results.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot failing tests and identify root causes.
• Generate and sustain assembly instructions with SMEs to meet requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for sub-assemblies and programs at McKinney CMC.
• Investigate failure trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation for production and test.
• Help reduce cycle time and production costs through cross-functional collaboration.
