Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II - Production Support (Metal Fabrication) to actively support operations on the shop floor and drive process improvements. You will troubleshoot, resolve production issues, and collaborate across teams to enhance efficiency and throughput.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in manufacturing, hands-on floor experience, and a strong background in lean methods.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on support on the shop floor, working with operators and production teams.
• Strong background in process improvement, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, line balancing, waste reduction).
• Ability to analyze production issues and drive solutions through execution.

Responsabilidades

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment.
• Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify improvement areas.
• Carry out process improvement, problem resolution, and project management.
• Improve processes for cost-reduction, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present plans and coordinate deployment including training.
• Perform research, design and development of processes including production flow and equipment.
• Coordinate launches of new/revised products with goals and training.
• Create processes to meet budgetary goals and performance quotas.
• Establish an effective and efficient work sequence.
• Devise new solutions to manufacturing problems.
• Design, develop and test tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment for methods.
