Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Assembler II to assemble, test, and inspect mechanical components per engineering drawings and quality standards. This role requires a higher level of technical proficiency than entry level and the ability to work independently while supporting production goals and a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing, can read drawings and BOMs, and is proficient with hand and power

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and assembly documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Perform mechanical fitting, fastening, alignment, and adjustment of components to meet product specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot minor assembly issues, making adjustments as needed.
• Identify and report quality concerns, material shortages, equipment issues, or process improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
