Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer II to evaluate new and existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process.

This onsite role in Agawam, MA leads and mentors Level I Process Engineers, drives lean improvements, analyzes workflows, and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency while increasing production capacity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing engineering or related field; 5 years in high-volume manufacturing may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large project timelines and resources.
• Provide oversight to Level I Process Engineers.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Identify equipment and tooling needs to meet specs.
• Improve workflow, space, and layout for efficiency.
• Maintain safe, reliable manufacturing systems and improve production metrics.
• Develop innovative solutions and optimize all production phases.
• Advise on corrective actions and ensure on-time project completion.
• Prepare product and process reports and assist in cost reviews.
• Maintain professional knowledge and participate in LEAN activities.
