Zusammenfassung

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I - Production Support (Metal Fabrication) to actively support production operations and drive process improvements on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, evaluating workflows, leading lean initiatives, training team members, and coordinating launches of new or revised products to meet budget and performance goals.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years1 manufacturing or production environment experience, specific to Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, line balancing, waste reduction, flow improvements).
• Hands-on support on the shop floor, working with operators and production teams.
• Background in process improvement, troubleshooting, and problem solving in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze production issues and drive solutions through execution.

Aufgaben

• Develop manufacturing processes by understanding product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Carry out process improvement, problem resolution, and project management.
• Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Prepare and present plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members.
• Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
