Job summary

OmniMax New Logo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to independently develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes. This role serves as a technical resource across production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and operations to improve performance.

The Manufacturing Engineer II leads process‑improvement initiatives, resolves complex manufacturing problems, develops tooling and fixtures, supports new product introduction, and provides technical direction for manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in metal fabrication or similar discrete manufacturing.
Strong reading of engineering drawings, GD&T, specs, and BOMs.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Analytical, troubleshooting, and project-management skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Provide technical leadership and engineering support to production operations.
Lead improvement projects focusing on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
Design fixtures, jigs, tooling, gauges, and other production aids.
Create routings, work instructions, standard work, and process documentation.
Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing.
Support new product introductions from prototype to production.
Evaluate manufacturability of designs and changes.
Collaborate with suppliers on tooling, equipment, and process development.
