Job summary

V2X is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II (Production Support Engineer II) to define and improve production processes for safe, efficient manufacturing with high quality. You will translate engineering intent into routings, BOMs, and work instructions, and provide hands-on support on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience in industrial assembly/manufacturing.
• Experience creating technical work instructions/SOPs for assembly or rework.
• Experience using ERP to manage routings and BOMs (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using 3D CAD to interpret models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production routings and BOMs in the ERP system (SAP S/4HANA).
• Create clear work instructions and visual aids for assembly and inspection operations.
• Interpret drawings and 3D models to define manufacturable processes.
• Support DFM/DFA reviews with design engineering.
• Develop basic to intermediate fixtures, jigs, and tooling for assembly.
