Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer at our Erie, PA facility. The role focuses on planning and developing tools, methods, and equipment to maximize quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across assembly or machining operations.

You will apply Lean principles, design workflows, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 3–5+ years of experience are preferred, with occasional domestic travel to support projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing production and/or machining environment.
• Education or training in CNC Machining, robotics, and/or test equipment.
• Willingness and ability to occasionally travel domestically to other sites, vendor and/or customer visits, and training events.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, and design layout of work area, equipment, resources, and production methods for waste reduction and maximum efficiency using Lean principles.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods with knowledge of product design, materials, tooling, and quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and kaizen events to reduce costs and improve processes.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, installation, or modification projects and prepare CAPEX documents.
• Design workflows, workstations, and work cells to meet safety and ergonomic standards.
