Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Erie, PA to apply engineering in planning and developing tools, methods and equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. The role may be assigned to Assembly or Machining operations.

Typical duties include designing layouts, improving methods, solving production issues, and leading cost-improvement initiatives. Travel for training and vendor visits is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3-5+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Education or training in CNC Machining, robotics, and/or test equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically to other sites and training events.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, and design layout of work area, equipment, resources and production methods for efficiency.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods with consideration of design, materials, tooling and quality.
• Maintain quality of machined components and assemblies by solving production and process issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and kaizen events to reduce waste and costs.
• Travel to observe new methods, vendor visits, and customer sites as required.
