Job summary
TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and processes across electromechanical products. The role partners with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with production equipment, CAD tools, CNC programming, and NPI activities, plus a solid foundation in reading drawings and solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Design Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of two years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Strong reading of drawings, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and production techniques.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support NPI and production with tooling, prototypes, and manufacturing readiness.
- Create clear work instructions and train operators.
- Lead cross‑functional technical reviews and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, QA, and supply chain.
- Ensure processes meet TE standards and customer specifications.
