Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machining processes and production workflows required.
• Experience with process development, routing creation, and work instructions required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through production.
• Collaborate with Programming, Quality, and Production to optimize cycle times and workflows.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (including ITAR as applicable).
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, waste reduction).
• Provide guidance and support to Level I Engineers as needed.
