Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to optimize aerospace manufacturing processes, develop innovative solutions, and lead improvements that boost quality, cost efficiency, and productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor early-career engineers, on-site in South Windsor, CT.

The role emphasizes hands-on shop floor involvement (50%+), Kaizen leadership, and adherence to Pursuit Aerospace’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1–2 years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Develop and refine manufacturing process plans for efficiency and compliance.
• Design, document, and optimize CNC programs for high-quality production.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
