Job summary

Parker is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to assist in designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes in a single facility. You will support the manufacture and assembly of Parker products, contributing to efficiency, quality, cost, and safety improvements.

Under direct supervision, this entry-level role focuses on learning and applying engineering concepts, data analysis, and CAD/CAM tools to drive process improvements and compliant practices within the production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 0–2 years of experience.
• Solid understanding of core engineering concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving approach for basic to moderate scope.
• Experience applying continuous improvement in quality/manufacturing (e.g., pull, JIT).
• Familiarity with data structures and database programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM or similar computer-assisted manufacturing tools.
• Ability to use procedures to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of manufacturing processes to improve assembly of products.
• Support process improvement projects focusing on efficiency, yield, safety, cost.
• Provide input to senior engineers on design concepts to utilize equipment.
• Help ensure processes comply with regulations and standards.
• Identify corrective actions to ensure product quality.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
