Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career engineers to join multiple manufacturing teams focused on developing and improving processes for spaceflight hardware. You will translate engineering intent into functional hardware, collaborate with design and systems teams, and contribute to quality, cost reduction, and build sequence optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree or higher in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering and Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
• Demonstrated ability in component fabrication, precision assembly, and testing using a variety of methods, techniques, and materials.
• Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
• Relevant internship/co‑op and/or hands‑on experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid developmentprograms.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset.
• Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Your projects may include various aspects of applied manufacturing engineering, including the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems.
• The projects will include the integration of materials and processes, production planning, quality control, operations, and collaboration with design and systems engineering teams.
