Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements and lean initiatives in a fast‑paced environment. You will partner with Quality, Program Management, Logistics and Manufacturing to implement changes and mentor staff.

The role emphasizes applying CI methodologies, 5S, Kaizen and root cause analyses to improve efficiency and reduce cost, while developing new tools and standard work for production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred across aero/ manufacturing fields.
• 5–7 years with HS diploma acceptable; 3–7 years with engineering degree aligns.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen and CI programs is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Quality, Industrial Engineering and Production to integrate new products into production.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and CI methods to improve value stream performance.
• Support 5S, Kaizen events, and A3 problem solving to drive improvements.
• Develop shop floor documentation, standard work and tooling requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement countermeasures with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate on design and tooling with programs and engineering teams.
