Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a liaison across design, procurement, assembly and quality to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. The role supports design reviews, production release reviews and build-to-blend decisions for in-house vs. external manufacturing capabilities.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Engineering, 0-2 years manufacturing engineering experience, and familiarity with Lean Sigma concepts.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Lean Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Attends design reviews and evaluates manufacturability of products.
• Reviews engineering drawings for production release compatibility with manufacturing techniques.
• Assesses in-house vs outside vendor manufacturing capabilities and makes recommendations.
