Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Huntington Beach to own industrialization for high-rate production. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, Build Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations to design, validate, and launch scalable manufacturing systems that deliver reliable hardware at speed.

You will work with a world-class team to ensure manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and rapid ramp, while driving quality and continuous improvement across the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years in manufacturing or industrialization roles.
• Strong background in process documentation and quality systems.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Hands-on shop floor experience in manufacturing processes.
• Ability to design components using first-principles DFM/A.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Own production planning from late-stage prototypes to mass production ramp.
• Design high-throughput manufacturing systems with target cycle times.
• Lead design optimization to reduce part count and tooling needs.
• Develop robust manufacturing launch schedules and plans.
• Coordinate MAKE vs BUY with supply chain for vendors and parts.
• Lead manufacturing virtual-build activities and assembly analyses.
• Define manufacturing system data structures and tools alignment.
• Collaborate with controls to deploy automation and manage FAT/SAT.
• Plan headcount and CAPEX/OPEX, plus factory layouts and ergonomics.
