Job summary

Mach Energetics, part of Mach Industries in California, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own the industrialization of our products for high-rate production. You will partner with mechanical design and production teams to develop processes, tooling, and build documentation that ensure repeatable, cost-effective builds meeting strict quality standards.

The role focuses on building at scale—driving DFMA improvements, fixture/tooling development, and clear work instructions with quality gates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years in production manufacturing, process engineering, or industrialization.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specs.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with quality systems, inspection methods, and production documentation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own production processes from build readiness through steady-state manufacturing.
• Design and qualify manufacturing equipment, fixtures, tools, and jigs.
• Develop, document, and release work instructions and quality gates.
• Drive DFMA and assembly process improvements to reduce content and simplify builds.
• Provide daily production support and implement SPC, PFMEA, and corrective actions.
• Travel to machine suppliers and contract manufacturers for bring-up and trials.
• Collaborate with technicians to train, enforce standard work, and improve safety.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure rate-capable vendors and availability.
• Drive continuous improvement in cycle time, yield, and cost.
