Bosch Charleston is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to launch the e-Axle production line in Charleston, SC. The role requires leading gearset/transmission process ownership, implementing PFMEA and control plans, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize processes and equipment.

The position emphasizes hands-on problem solving, technical leadership, and willingness to travel internationally, with strong focus on manufacturing efficiency and training documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Self-starter with curiosity and ownership of technical processes.
• 3+ years in automated, industrial manufacturing and cross‑functional work.

Responsibilities

• Own gearset/transmission loop processes on the e-Axle line; drive process improvements.
• Develop best practices and training materials for manufacturing processes.
• Support and implement lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Troubleshoot production with documentation, trials, and PFMEA/Control Plan input.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on process/equipment optimization.
• Engage with lead plants and International Production Networks on new technologies.
