Job summary

Bosch Charleston seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to launch e-Mobility production in Charleston, SC. You will lead processes for final assembly of electrified motors and axles, develop best practices, and drive production planning with cross‑functional teams across the company and international partners.

The role requires hands-on execution, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to push technical initiatives while maintaining manufacturing efficiency. Travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (or similar field).
• Self-starter with curiosity, able to lead development of technical processes.
• Minimum three years’ experience in automated, industrial manufacturing.
• Comfortable with cross-functional activities and international teams.
• Structured, systematic in work approach; adaptable to changes and multi-tasking.
• Willing and able to travel internationally.
• Effective communication at all levels of the organization.
• Adept in systematic problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Shainin, etc.).
• Project management and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Process owner for final assembly of electrified Motors and Axles.
• Develops best practices and creates training/documentation.
• Creates and executes production plans.
• Support and implement lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Support ongoing production with problem solving, documentation, and trials for process improvements.
• Derive customer characteristics to drive PFMEA and Control Plan development.
• Cooperate with internal/external partners for process and equipment optimizations.
• Communicate with lead plants and International Production Networks on latest tech and processes.
• Conduct or participate in customer-required process assessments and audits.
