Bosch Charleston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to launch our next phase of e-mobility production at the Charleston, SC site. The role focuses on processes for final assembly of electrified motors and axles, where you will develop best practices and create training and documentation to drive efficient production.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners across process development, quality, suppliers, and logistics, leading PFMEA and Control Plan activities and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• Self-starter with curiosity and willingness to lead technical processes.
• Minimum three years' experience in automated, industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to work with cross-functional, international teams.
• Structured, systematic approach and adaptability to change.
• Willing and able to travel internationally.
• Effective communication at all levels.
• Skilled in systematic problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Shainin).
• Project management with ability to lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Process owner for final assembly of electrified motors and axles.
• Develops best practices and creates training/documentation.
• Creates and executes production plan.
• Support and implement lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Support ongoing production with problem solving, documentation, and trials for process improvements.
• Derive attributes for PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Cooperation with internal and external partners for process and equipment optimizations.
• Communication and participation with lead plants and networks on latest technologies.
• Conduct and/or participate in customer-required process assessments and audits.
