Job summary

Bosch Charleston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to launch the next phase of e‑mobility production for the e‑Axle program at our Charleston, SC site. This role requires hands‑on leadership of gearset assembly processes and a strong focus on operational efficiency.

You will own process PFMEA and Control Plans, work with cross‑functional teams and international partners to implement improvements, and help train teams on best practices while supporting production with problem solving and trials.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in automated, industrial manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Able to work cross-functionally in international teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and structured approach.

Responsibilities

• Own processes on gearset/transmission loop of the e-Axle production line.
• Maintain product knowledge of transmission and gear components and verification processes.
• Develop best practices and create training/documentation.
• Support lead plant/IPN processes and standards.
• Assist production with problem solving, documentation, and trials for improvements.
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan development from customer attributes.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners for optimization.
• Communicate with lead plants and networks on latest tech and processes.
• Participate in customer-required assessments and audits.
