Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Charleston, SC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the launch of our e-Axle production. The role focuses on process ownership for final assembly, development of best practices, and documentation to enable efficient manufacturing.

You will work with cross‑functional teams across internal and external partners, traveling internationally as needed and driving PFMEA and Control Plan development for process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar field.
• Self-starter with curiosity to lead technical process development.
• Minimum three years in automated, industrial manufacturing.
• Able to work with cross‑functional and international teams.
• Willing and able to travel internationally.
• Strong communication and structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why).
• Project management and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own processes for final assembly of electrified Motors and Axles.
• Develop best practices and create training/documentation.
• Create and execute production plans.
• Support and implement plant processes and standards.
• Assist production with problem solving, docs, and trials.
