Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. You will design tooling, test processes, and coordinate launches for new or revised products to improve throughput and reduce waste.

The role requires strong analytical ability, documented experience in manufacturing environments, and proficiency with CAD/CAM tools such as Unigraphics.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering required.
3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering or similar role.
Experience with Unigraphics and CAD programs; gear manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality.
Design, testing, and improvement of tooling and equipment.
Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
Analyze process elements and equipment for improvements.
Provide technical support for plant operations.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
