Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production-process research, data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives across lines to ensure high-quality, on-time output. You will partner with maintenance, quality and operations to map processes, identify issues and implement efficiency gains that support cost reduction and reliability.

A degree in engineering and 3+ years' experience are required, with up to 50% travel and relocation support available

Qualifications

• University/college degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• 3+ years of experience required.
• Must be able to travel 50% to other manufacturing plants.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and motivate others.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify set up and operating parameters for production lines.
• Collaborate with technicians to identify lines not within specifications.
• Coordinate with New Product Development on launches.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to address safety/quality issues.
• Propose sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop management system processes and metric tracking.
• Review production schedules and engineering specs to understand methods.
• Travel 50% and alternate shifts.
• Train operators for on-time & on-budget production.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI attainment.
