Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Connected Warfare program at Arsenal-1, Ashville, OH. You will own the manufacturing value chain, drive DFx feedback into design, and optimize high-rate production lines.

The role requires relocation to Costa Mesa for a 3-month training, after which you return to Ohio with on-site responsibilities. You will partner with design and manufacturing teams to ensure robust quality, vendor collaboration, and scalable processes while

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Strong emphasis on mission assurance, quality, and attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Willingness to travel between locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire manufacturing value-chain from current rate to high-volume deployment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to drive design for manufacturing into products.
• Serve as manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics with DFM focus.
• Maintain MBOMs, work instructions, and process flows for scale manufacturing.
• Advise on quality management and manufacturing-related programs.
• Coordinate capacity planning with internal customers and planning teams.
• Analyze metrics to drive cost reduction and capacity increases.
• Foster culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability.
• Develop production and test methodologies for scalable production.
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and issue resolution.
