Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own the full manufacturing value chain at Arsenal-1 in Ashville, OH, driving DFM, tooling, and high-rate production. You will partner with design and supply teams to scale critical defense hardware while documenting processes and maintaining quality.

The role requires a technical degree, 1–5 years in electromechanical hardware, and willingness to work extended hours with travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in limited resources.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Regular travel between locations is essential.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing value chain from prototyping to high-volume production.
• Drive DFM feedback into design and optimize production lines.
• Serve as manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics.
• Maintain MBOMs, work instructions, and process flows.
• Advise on quality management and related programs in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal customers and planning teams on capacity.
• Analyze metrics for cost reduction and throughput improvements.
• Instill culture of innovation, teamwork, accountability.
• Develop production and test methodologies for scaling.
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and issue resolution.
