Job summary

Greenheck Group invites you to join our Knoxville, TN team as an Engineering Co-op from January to August 2027. You will support daily production by creating and updating SOPs, troubleshooting machines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is ideal for an enrolled bachelor's student in Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering programs who is on track to graduate within 3 semesters, with hands-on curiosity and basic hand tool experience.

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering etc.)
• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less
• Interest in hands‑on learning
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, innovative environment
• Experience working with basic hand tools
• Experience with 3D modeling software (a plus) to expand your technical toolkit and design capabilities
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to support customer‑focused solutions

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team as an Engineering Co-op in Knoxville, TN from January to August 2027.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The pay range for this position is $22.00/hour - $28.00/hour, based on position and academic year.

In addition to competitive pay, co‑ops and interns receive paid time off for company‑observed holidays and are eligible for additional financial support, which may include company‑provided housing, a housing allowance, or a sign‑on bonus, depending on location, assignment, and length of term.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in‑person meetings and complete various office tasks.
