Job summary

Greenheck Group seeks an engineering co-op in Knoxville, TN from January to August 2027. The role focuses on manufacturing engineering support, SOP creation, machine troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across facilities worldwide.

You will participate in layout design and process development, gaining hands-on experience with basic tools and 3D modeling while collaborating with teams and leaders across the company.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering etc.)
• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less
• Interest in hands-on learning
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Experience working with basic hand tools
• Experience with 3D modeling software (a plus) to expand your technical toolkit and design capabilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support customer-focused solutions

Responsibilities

• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshoot machines to support daily production
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
• Contribute to layout design and process development across operations
• Support cross-functional teams and collaborate with peers to implement improvements
• Participate in Early Talent programs and connect with leaders across the company
