Job summary

Komatsu seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II, Engineering to lead lathe programming, tooling, fixturing, and setup/process sheets. This onsite role is based in Milwaukee, WI, and focuses on improving manufacturing processes and DFMA improvements.

You will work with engineering and manufacturing to reduce costs, boost productivity, and ensure safety and quality. The position requires hands-on CAMWorks and SolidWorks programming and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Participate and be pro-active in Operations safety program.
• Works with engineering and other manufacturing departments.
• Program lathes using CAMWorks software and SolidWorks; set speeds/feeds.
• Develop equipment, fixtures, tooling to aid manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing organization.
• Analyzes drawings and design data; creates/maintains programs and process sheets.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Develops new manufacturing methods (DFMA).
• Supports capital projects and machine tool evaluation.
