• Analyze drawings and solid models of precision parts to determine the most efficient sequence of operations for machining.
• Design fixtures and tooling for production and assembly.
• Observe first article production and inspection to verify process compliance and results.
• Stay current with changing technologies and apply to current/new projects.
• Ensure ISO, AS, safety and other management systems are in compliance.

This position is responsible for creating models, CNC programs and designing fixtures for parts from customer supplied blue prints as well as design and maintain Seiler developed drawings. This position will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating detailed setup and work instructions for machine shop applications. Candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of modern machine shop practices and be able to optimize CNC programs to meet estimated times.
