You will optimize machining processes, analyze drawings, and design tooling for production, ensuring first article inspection compliance and ongoing improvement. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential. The role emphasizes modern machine shop practices, ISO/AS guidelines, and staying updated with industry technologies,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar field preferred.
• SolidWorks and Mastercam software knowledge/experience is required.
• Fixture design and machining principles for CNC machining are essential.

Mansioni

• Analyze drawings and solid models of precision parts to determine the most efficient sequence of operations for machining.
• Design fixtures and tooling for production and assembly.
• Observe first article production and inspection to verify process compliance and results.
• Stay current with changing technologies and apply to current/new projects.
• Ensure ISO, AS, safety and other management systems are in compliance.
