Job summary

Premier Precision Machining PA, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. You will develop efficient manufacturing methods, implement automation, and support tooling and setup for new programs, collaborating with production teams.

The role requires strong mechanical/industrial engineering skills, hands-on machining experience, and the ability to manage cost estimates and time standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher and hands-on machining experience.
• Strong problem solving and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create part programs using Cad Cam for CNC lathe or mills.
• Create internal drawings using Cad system.
• Establish time standards for processing parts.
• Develop manufacturing methods to promote efficient facility utilization.
• Analyze user data needs and develop solutions interfacing with existing applications.
• Coordinate specification review and sign-off procedures.
• Coordinate implementation and training for new programs/systems.
• Assist operations in setup, testing and support of new programs and machining procedures.
• Provide guidance for solving complex operations issues and troubleshooting.
• Prepare cost analysis by tracking incurred vs estimates for materials, labor and processing costs.
• Develop cost estimates from RFQs, drawings, and specifications.
• Create and track travelers, setup sheets, and process logs for machining operations.
• Help setup, debug, and optimize new jobs on machines.
• Back up Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for Product Realization Reviews.
• Other duties as required.
